A land full of contrast, the Médoc region is fascinating, it offers a complete change of scenery. In the east you’ll find dykes, polders, duck shooting and fishing huts, marshland called  « mattes », cultivated fields at a level lower than the sea …..
In the west, its ocean face, over 30 miles of fine sand beaches and its tidy vineyards, lining the Gironde estuary, all contribute to making the area a world-renowned jewel...
