600 km of cycle paths, 2000 km of walking paths, most of them open to mountain bikes… The Gironde department is one of the top cycling holiday destinations in France !

The cycle paths network is constantly increasing in Gironde. Today, nearly 600 km of paths take holiday-makers all the way to the ocean, back to Bordeaux, through the vineyards or natural preserved areas.  Most of them being separate from roads, they are very safe.
