If your next landing point is the M\u00e9doc, get ready to discover many cycle paths on the Atlantic coast in complete safety and serenity.<\/p>\n
During your vacation at the Vieux Moulin campsite in Vensac, enjoy a sensational cycle ride, which you can do alone or as a couple for maximum pleasure. After having driven through every corner of this beautiful village, why not take the road towards the neighboring towns, including Royan, Arcachon and Lacanau-Oc\u00e9an. Being magnificent towns, these destinations will know how to reward your efforts in more ways. These kilometers of hikes allow you to access magnificent sites and many of them demonstrate all their riches and beauty.<\/p>\n
The Velodyss\u00e9e is a cycle route that connects Brittany to the Basque Coast. More than 1,200 kilometers long, it allows you to cross 3 regions and 9 departments on marked and secure routes. It is one of the most beautiful cycle paths in Gironde.<\/p>\n
By embarking on the V\u00e9lodyss\u00e9e Royan\/Montalivet route, you will have the pleasure of seeing magnificent territories, from the entrance to the Gironde to Soulac, passing through Verdon-sur-Mer.<\/p>\n

\nThis route is ideal for beginners and families and connects the tip of M\u00e9doc to the town of Montalivet via Soulac-sur-Mer or Verdon-sur-Mer. If you arrive from Royan you will have to take the ferry which offers several rotations per day to take you to Pointe de Grave.<\/p>\n
For your V\u00e9lodys\u00e9e route from Montalivet-les-Bains to Hourtin plage, allow around 1h20 for a family trip between the coast and the vineyards.<\/p>\n

You will reach Hourtin and its lake through the forest. A beautiful walk awaits you.<\/p>\n
We strongly advise you to take these 2 cycle paths in Gironde to discover it. Our campsite is located at the junction of these 2 routes. So you can do each of them on 2 different days. These routes are recommended for families. If you decide to do the route further south which links Hourtin-Plage to Lacanau-Oc\u00e9an, be aware that the level becomes more difficult and may be less suitable if you have children.<\/p>\n
